Something like this?
A little similar to Himeji-jo in appearance, but much smaller as this is just a guard tower on the moat. Edo-jo's donjon was destroyed long ago, IIRC.KH FOR OWNER!

I thinks its more like saw a very similar picture to your first one (including the cherry blossom) then another with the guard tower and moat around Edo-castle and merged them in my memory (since the yellow wall under Himeji-jo and the moat wall have a similar construction style).We need seperate human-only games for MP/PBEM that dont include the over-simplifications required to have a good AI
