Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

“It is no use trying to 'see through' first principles. If you see through everything, then everything is transparent. But a wholly transparent world is an invisible world. To 'see through' all things is the same as not to see.”

I think I'd love to be in Oregon's main city. Not too big, some welfare, and a climate feeling like home. Probably the least terrible area there is in the US

Of course, I'd take pretty much any spot in non-Rosbif Europe over that

I took it, and I didn't notice anything funny, except the preposterous idea that religion can be an important aspect of daily life

I am sure the idea of religion being a part of daily life would seem strange to a Frenchman, just as a Frenchmen would probably also find the American practice of taking a shower as a part of daily life very strange as well.

Portland, OR. Not surprising, but reassuring as I've been considering moving up there in the future.

Of those I would only seriously choose to live in Seattle, but would tolerate the others, I suppose. Cincinnati? No thanks.

Strangely enough, my current home, Bloomington Indiana, was on page 3 of my list.

my results for top five choices:

                          Little Rock, Arkansas

                          Champaign-Urbana, Illinois

                          Portland, Oregon

                          Sheboygan, Wisconsin

                          Fayetteville, Arkansas

                          Sacramento, California

But there is one city that I would enjoy living in, that was farther down the list -- Madison, Wisconsin.
