More interesting than than Zylka's banana good showing or Fez's domination, is the tie between Spiffor and MtG. Let's wait another day to see who can put 'best debater' in his sig.

Wow, I can't believe I was nominated! I voted for Spiffor, mainly because he is the most likely person among the nominees to make me change my mind. He does this by seeming to be open to most points of view, which gives me confidence that he hasn't simply arrived at his position due to his doctrine.
I agree with MtG too much to properly evaluate his style, and when I disagree with him I normally don't care all that much about the issue anyway. But he is a powerful arguer.
Boris is second most likely to get me to change my mind, and like Spiffor mostly because he manages to be reasonable most of the time so I tend to take him seriously when he's being serious.
GePap is usually serious and he makes serious arguments based on data most of the time. But like me he tends to argue from form rather than conviction at times, and that reduces his score a little.
Imran relies too much on the disingenuous argument and on wearing his opponents down for my taste, though I like him most of the time and do think he deserves his spot in the limelight. Unlike...
Fez. What more is there to say? He's got the Midas touch.
But he touched it too much!
Hey Goldmember, Hey Goldmember!

Agathon: if he can bring a debate to a conceptual level, he will win it, almost certainly."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."
Ben Kenobi: "That means I'm doing something right. "

When Fez wins he will convince himself that he was sincerely voted the best debater on the board.
Where would we be without his astute observations?"The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned
