You have to see if he reaches his potential his first year. Some Japanese hitters have either had to wait a year, or in the case of Ichiro, have gone down since their first year. Hope for Ichiro rather than the others .

But, you have to admit, he's NOTHING like his rookie year, which was absolutely amazing. He's a good player, but not a sure fire HoFer like that first year showed.
