      Incidentally, since CF is a separate position, we can not fill that slot with a LF/RF. But is the flipside also true? You'd be hard-pressed to find a CF who couldn't play LF or RF if they wanted to...

              I see the problem. You don't understnd the intricities of a list.
              I provide a list. If the first one is gone, you take the second name. It's all really very simple, and self-explanatory.
              Unless, for instance, I have Joe Blow - Catcher
              OR
              Joe Schmo - Catcher.
              Just pick A catcher.
              Now that's a sort of stipulation.
