No and yes are the respective answers to your questions.

I happened to see the England tries in a highlights package. Against essentially crap defence like that, Scotland could have scored tries.

That Kiwi-Wallaby combination keeps on knocking me down.

Scotland's defence looked worse than the Italians did - so Saturday should be interesting!

But we really should talk about the state of Scotland under their new Aussie-Kiwi coaching team.
They have a coach? Seeing what they did on the field, one can wonder.

About England vs. Italy, it was obvious that Italy was outperformed. They shouldn't have spent their time committing three tacklers to a single English so often. The result was their tiring and leaving holes through which Robinson and others could easily get.
I still agree Italy may well beat Scotland and maybe even Wales (though I think they play Wales in Wales this year?).

In my opinion Scotland will end the Tournament with the Wooden Spoon. I agree that Italy can beat the Welsh in the Millenium Stadium, but discipline could be their downfall.

Tigers host world's biggest 'boat race'

                        Monday February 16 2004
                        World record event
The trophy cabinet of English club Leicester Tigers may not be as full as it has come accustomed to over the past few years but they can celebrate the fact they have one title that really matters - the host of the world’s biggest ever boat race drinking game.

The Tigers have found their way into the Guinness Book of Records after the event took place at Welford Road back on May 10 2003.

The feat took place at the second annual Leicester Varsity Match between De Montfort and Leicester universities, but was this week given official recognition by Guinness world record bosses, who presented Tigers with a certificate to mark the feat.

The event was thirsty work for all 844 participants who smashed the previous record of 735, held by students from Bath, with locally-produced Tiger Bitter appropriately being the weapon of choice.

Hey Tamerlin. I have a French recipe - in French - for a Tomato Sorbet. I've managed to translate it, but one of the ingredients is Piment d'espelette. I gather it's derived from capsicum (peppers) and used as a substitute for pepper in some regional cooking. Is it like a hot paprika?

If a superb coach like Ian McGeechan could not help Scotland one wonders what an unknown Aussie can hope to do? Still at least his assistant Todd Blackadder has stopped using boot polish on his hair and looks a little more human.

I still agree Italy may well beat Scotland and maybe even Wales (though I think they play Wales in Wales this year?).
Yes Italy head to Cardiff for their last game. Wales expect that to be for the Grand Slam. You have to admire their optimism – they are still basically a poor side that has had some success swinging the ball wide recently.

You will insist on setting yourself up.
Not true. I simply say it as it is – not my fault your perspective does not allow you to appreciate the truth.

                              Heck yeah.

Everards Tiger Bitter is a nice drop of nectar too.
Did I take part? No. Have you any idea how much drinking time is wasted as you have to wait for 843 people to drink a pint before you can even touch yours?

And Finbar I believe Liz is still your head of state as well?

So when we become a republic and President Blair becomes head of state you will get him too??!!

Ditto. And I hope not to be anywhere near this place by that stage.
