I thought this was finally going to be another blog entry.

The newspaper is referring to something that happened in Bristol, England.

Of course, why anybody would want to go there is beyond me. Brits?

I went to a party ONCE in Bristol with a bunch of work colleagues. After about an hour (it was the boss's party) his SO told us all to Fvck Off in so many words.

As we were all tripping our nuts off at the time, it made the journey home somewhat interesting.

Another work expedition had a canal boat trip up to Bristol and back. I and a couple of mates jumped ship and made our way to a night club. While jumping ship, I landed on my back. I was too drunk to notice the damage at the time.

Moral; don't go to Bristol to have a good time.

I imagine many of the residents of Bristol ponder this very idea daily.

The resolution on that video is so low I can't see whats going on.

I heard about this today at work, I had a feeling that this is what this thread was going to be about.

Yes, I had heard great things about Bristol so when Andy was over visiting we decided to pay it a visit one day (I had never been there myself before). Needless to say, I wasn't too impressed. I know my home city of Hull gets a lot of stick, but in comparison to Bristol, it is truly beautiful

I just love clever, oxymoronic thread titles like these.

Is it the naval tradition of Bristol that floats your boat?
