  • Communist Education?

You know the basic generic theory, nobody rich and nobody poor, everyone works for each other blah blah blah...

Did this carry over into academia? To create a true utopia we can't just limit it to money can we???

Everyone in a class/school/college should just have their grades averaged and everyone get the same score. We can't let those capitalist with more than their share of book smarts oppress the lower classes now can we.

EDIT: Since some here seem to take the world far too seriously, THIS IS NOT SERIOUS. I apologize for not including the oblicatory . So here you go.

And a for Templar, lighten up man.

So, Patty, how is anti-communism for beginners working out for you?

Seriously, communist education, at least in the USSR, was rather similar to education everywhere else. The exception being that students who did the best were required to help struggling students.

Spare us the strawman argument, dickhead.

BTW, Yale Law doesn't give grades to first year students, all get pass/fail. The idea being "if you're good enough to get into Yale ..." And Yale Law is anything but a haven for Marxists.

          Extremely inane. I'm impressed.

Well... Isn't that the gist of communism though? All for one and one for all? You're only as strong as the weakest link?

I see Ramo, so in other words it fits in perfectly with most of the threads here.

No, your "joke" was exceptional in its inanity.

Commies -- can't live with them, and can't get along with them.

                          (another bad joke)

funnily enough, i used the same argument at uni on a socialist (a pretty one mind ) to prove that grading income tax is wrong. I said, if anyone who scores over 50% has 90% of their sore taken off of them and redistributed, would it at all be fair on her.
