OK... I actually meant your hypotetic reaction if it will be released tommorow and if it'll be as "good" as expected.

what is expected of it? Have the improved Civ3 at all? Is it still wildly stupid and annoying?

Dunno. Maybe it'll be less random?

Damnit. It's CIV. It's not smac and it's not ctp. If you don't like Civ, then play smac or ctp, okay?

nah, civ3 isn't 'CIV.' Its a poor game going under a great name.

If they could somehow get Brian Reynolds to do the game I'd buy it in a second. If not it'll probably just end up like that piece of trash that was Civ3.

Civ3 was, and still is, a great game. It has fewer features than SMAC, but it has a much more solid AI, great grpahics, an imaginative trade system, and a much better diplomacy interface than any Civ/Smac game around here.

I played Civ2 like crazy, and I was a highes fan of Civ2. But I can say it without hesitation: now that I own Civ3, I cannot possibly imagine going back to play Civ2.

i'm going to agree with so many others...after blunder that was civ3, little is going to come out of my pocket for the game. If they start with a civ2 foundation instead of a civ3 foundation, it might have some worth, but that is yet to be seen...

They already ripped me off with Civ3. I'll get the fourth for free.
