P2P programs are supposed to encrypt your IP adress, unlike ordinary web browsers. To get your IP in a P2P program is possible (and it has been done, in Denmark and in the US IIRC), but it is much more of a pain in the ass.

downloading a firewall, and keeping your virus protections up to date, and only opening requested e-mail, is the best protection against viruses

This is by far the best protection against viruses. Most of the time, I get an unwanted email with an exe attachment. Yeah right, that must be somme cool porn

I suggest you to turn to Mozilla for both web browsing and Mail client. Most viruses are solely intended at IE or Outlook, and as such Mozilla is already safe from them. Besides, I'm not aware that Mozilla launches any executable program without asking you first if it's okay (and whenever a suspicious site wants to launch a program, you know it's never okay)

Didn't one of the early features on Big Huge Games mention that they had a centralized server with 5 gigs of mp3s?

Markos and Dan better get the Server out of the US before Ashcroft forces them to close the OT forum for hosting "unpatriotic reds" (Me, Che, Tass, Ramo, Spiffor, Kid, etc.).

Go whine some more about how bad the US is. That is allowed and is normal Poly activity. Your copyright violation crap is not. Buy the damn CD you cheapskate. And don't give me that crap about how you want to try stuff or how it will help the record label more since you try more when you buy more.

Do as you are told. This is America.
