    Toss up:

    (1) Mina and Nemo

    OR

    (2) Rorschach

Hmm, all three are Alan Moore characters. Go figure ...

And toss in Arucard and Integra as well (even if they are manga).

Rorschach is a tragic hero, with his flaw eventually bringing his downfall. There's a lot of characterisation in there for him. Doctor Manhattan is very powerful, but not the main character IMHO.
        I agree .

I´ve never read anything about Dr Doom, what should I read?

I have a sci-fi book of short stories published in the 70's (sorry cant remember author) with a chapter that deals with just this subject "Man of steel woman of kleenex".

I like the comic Druuna better. Not going to post a pic, though!
"And toss in Arucard and Integra as well (even if they are manga)." Manga is comics, so no ifs. I've only seen the anime, though. Is there a comic too, or are you just one those, who mix manga/anime up? (There is, I checked.) I personally prefer Victoria Ceras.

But Judge Joseph Dredd could kick Superman's and Batman's combined asses. The law doesn't approve vigilantes.
I've allways wanted to play "Russ Meyer's Civilization"

It was originally manga (I got the book form from B&N). Over winter break, my sister showed me her set of dvds with the anime version. The anime starts in the same place as the manga, but deviates towards the middle of the series. Victoria is my second fav, she just lacks that cool dynamic between Arucard and Integra.

Ok, this reminds me of a joke....

Superman is out flying around Metropolis as he is apt to do, as he is flying past an apartment building window he sees Wonder Woman naked on the bed with her legs wide open.

Superman thinks to himself, "hmm, the window is open, and as I'm faster than a speeding bullet I can just zip in there, have my way with her and zip right out before she knows what happened.."

After a bit of thought, Superman did just that.

Zip in, bam, bam, bam, zip out.

Wonder Woman sits up and says "what the hell was that?"

The Invisable Man replies, "I dunno, but my a.ss sure is sore."
