Here's a more tactful way to put it:

            Good show!

            They're already getting good photos.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

yea, that was done with rocket landings, and nuclear reactors. This one has even better electronics, an inferior power supply(the cells will get covered with dust, pitted eventually, the reactor let them keep the probes up for about 5 years), and has broadband. They got video of the way down and the bouncing appearently.

It is really amazing to watch the press conference. The joy and enthusiasm and expectation of the scientists is so radiant.

Great achievement NASA. It will be exciting to follow in the coming months.

I have often wondered why this simple thing keeps getting in the way. Ever hear of a windshield wiper? A little thing like this would extend the life of a solar cell ENORMOUSLY.

Anyway, I can't see anything on TV about it at work. Can anybody post some links to updates about this?
