Iran needs our money as much as we need their oil. As long as the US won't normalize its relationship with Iran, the noise (from both sides) won't hinder TotalFinaElf in making profit.

I was going to, but I'd like to see if it would became a legit discussion. Unfortunately, it didn't.

... Besides, such a reaction is to be expected from an Islamist Fundamentalist regime. As a matter of fact, it would have been very surprising if Iran didn't react.

I am again in agreement with you, it is becoming to be boring ...

                  Scary thread!
I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.

So, the 727 stolen a few months ago ended up in the service of another airline? JFK, cross Africa off the list of continents to visit...

Ayatollah Ahmad Janati called on Islamic countries to "threaten France with canceling contracts and to reconsider their relations with France" over the issue.
That's about the sanest "holy war" I've ever heard of. Doesn't really fit with "Death to France," though -- maybe "Death to French Contracts" or something...

Thread on the same day that 145 or so french tourists were killed in that tragic airplane accident near Egypt. Nice tact now doubt.

Speaking of disasters, I'm asking myself why those in Iran are *****ing and moaning about headscarves when they have infinitely more important things to worry about right now, such as getting outside help after the total destruction of one of their cities. Heck, France probably sent a field hospital.

That irony was where I hoped this thread would be when I woke up this morning.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

Are you assuming he opposed Bush, Rumsfeld & Co to kiss muslim ass?
No. What made you think that?
