Way too many to list, but honorable mentions to:
Keygen - a great guy in the CtP community, always with fresh ideas, volunteering to do some job, and providing guidance to new players.
Locutus - probably the best source for anything concerning CtP, enough said.
WesW, Hexagonian, Martin Guehmann, Dale, BlueO and others - providing continious mod support for CtP over the years.
Velociryx - IMO, the best Civ strategist there is. Awesome writing, great ideas for game design (think Canlde'Bre), his posts are a must-read to me.
Ming - heard about him during my first week on Poly, saw him after a month. Several great conversations with him, and he's taught me much about moderating. A very intelligent and educated person.
Rah - just like Ming, intelligent, educated and a pleasure to talk to. I'm only ashamed I learnt of his existence so late.
Pekka - great 'depressing' and 'sick' threads, I somehow always enjoy his posts, wheter replies or new threads. One of my favorite OTF posters.
st_swithin - ahh, noone can forget the Lemur Girl Winnie. No comment here, you just have to know her.
Ixnay - the best graphics artist I've seen in a long time. What he managed to do for this year's April's Fool day lone is worth a good mention.
Quinns, Mathemagician, TheBirdMan, Lung, Troll, Nuke Boy, and about two dozen others - CtP players, aways up for a good battle.
Faded Glory - sometimes a bit harsh or eccentric, he was always fun, in talking and playing. I'm most sad he passed away at such a young age .
Aeson - the SVC challenge.
Theseus, Arrian - very good Civ 3 posts, some great reading during the days of my most active Civ 3 playing.
Out4Blood - not really posting much, but has some posts in RoN section, and I know him from back in 1999 at RTS scene.
Eli, Sirotnikov, Azazel, and a few others - fellow Jews
Panag - maybe not loved by many, I find him an interesting and pleasant guy
Skanky Burns - classic humor and hacking
DarkCloud - the statistics freak who keeps trying to beat me by post count
Gramphos - absolutely hillarious work on Civ 3 in the very first day, and a lot of behind-the-scenes job done for the site
MtG - I'm always amazed by how overwhelming his arguments seem to be
And, of course, Markos and Dan, for their continued great work at keeping this site up.
My apologies to the many excellent posters I left out in that list, simply because there are far too many posters I like and respect.Solver, WePlayCiv Co-Administrator
