  • New Years

So...... New Years approachs fast, blisteringly fast some may say. What plans do you people have for New Years Eve? Up to anything exciting? Adventureous? Or just another night? Do tell.

For me, I am going down to Palmerston North, a city down the south part of the North Island (for those of you who know a little about NZ) for a few days over this period. Infact leaving tomorrow. Having a small private party at a friends house in the said city. Should be fun, looking forward to it.

So, yes you people, what ya doing?

Alcohol will play a heavy part in my night, that much is certain.

Probably will be visiting my friends.
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

One of the alcohol-free zones of Sydney Harbor. There shall be many interesting conversations with many international visitors, or failing that a lot of fireworks.

Large party at a friend's house in the woods. Perfect scene for a slasher flick.

Probably watching the wife fall asleep at 10:30, like she does every New Years.

I'm on the door at my girlfriends parents pub. She's working behind the bar so we get to spend it together. Together we are getting £120. Add onto that the ~£50 we saved by staying in and new years becomes very profitable.

                        The Usual New Year's --

At home with my wife, sharing a bottle of wine and maybe a movie until she crashes.

Then, some Civ2 until I do the same.

Staying home, drinking grog and trying to avoid the living room where the wife watches silly tv shows.
