Many, many, many do. A lot of people don't do the 4 year stint in a far off college. They get hitched. But yeah, early marriages do break up more often. People are still growing at that age.Originally posted by Sava

Back to topic: The younger one seems to be active and looking towards the future. The older one is not. With what we know so far I'd go with the younger one for now.

I see no one has mentioned the fact that the younger one is on the "Rescue Squad". Is she an ERT, or higher (I dout higher as she is just 18). Being someone who is from the rescue/ambulance/firefighter/cop crowd, I can say that, more often than not, career comes before family. Hell, not even career, but volunteer work can frequently come before family. Yes, this is generalizing, but I am just giving my exp.
The one with kids, well, more power to you if you can make it work. I tried dating a woman who had a 4 year old. Worked great for a while. The kid loved me and mom and I got along great. The problem came from myself. I knew the kid wasn't mine and I knew I would be treating him different. It was never the mom, or the kid, but myself that failed that relationship. btw, 18 is too young to get married... I have no problem with that being the legal age or anything like that... but 18 is just too young. ****, I'm 23 and I'm still too young. At 18, there's so much to experience, so many people to meet... damn... why the hell would anyone want to settle down at that age? You aren't even fully mature yet! I'm a different person than I was at 18... and most people do change between 18 and 24.To us, it is the BEAST.Comment

Spray: I think you're very noble person to decide in such an early stage about it. Some people wouldn't, and would end up hurting one of the women much more.
