  • Do you have kazaa, JohnT?

just kidding... though these are singles and i think you can download and keep them for a period of 24 hours. or you could listen on such great sites as msn.com?

anyway, it's been nearly a year since you said you'd check out some neo-soul rnb and everytime i check, you still haven't. here's a little list of songs to check out. they shouldn't be hard to find as most are/were singles.

    Half-Crazy by Musiq Soulchild

Illegal downloading is not condoned by Apolyton, and threads like this are lept upon by the mods like a huge, massive flock of vultures, rapidly circling down to completely eliminate any trace of its existence.

            Dammit, don't close my thread!

AS, I appreciate your concern, but I don't even have time to listen to music that I know I like. Such is my world...

And actually, read his first post. He started off with "just kidding", as in about the kazaa thing I assume. And then he suggested 24 hour trial files, and msn.com streaming audio.

Nothing wrong here as far as I can see. But I'm sure MtG will shut it down immediately, regardless, just because, well, he's a redneck and Speer isn't.

Edit: (for all you numbnuts out there)

Alls well that ends well I suppose.

Except that downloading music is not illegal. At least not in Canada, and perhaps not in the US.

Uploading however, is illegal. And I'm pretty sure that downloading software is illegal.

Hey, I didn't say anything other than it was illegal and the mods would likely close it.

Well, okay then, all JohnT has to do is move to Canada, get citizenship there, and then download the music.

                          Buck:

i like the music but i hate the people who are all into it. nothing is more bothersome than a neo-soul black 'intellectual'. unfortunately, the open mic club scene is teaming with them.

It's apparently not illegal in the US either. Ming and the other mods won't say this though, as it is a touchy subject.

Having said that, it would be nice to have some clarification as to whether people could talk about this legal activity or if the owners have personal, rather than legal, reasons for not wanting it discussed.

Only if you pay for each song. Downloading from Kazaa or something is illegal.
