I like "It feels like Christmas" and "The Christmas Wish", both from the Muppets.
"Beauty is not in the face...Beauty is a light in the heart." - Kahlil Gibran
"The greatest happiness of life is the conviction that we are loved; loved for ourselves, or rather, loved in spite of ourselves" - Victor Hugo

"Chipmunks roasting on an open fire" and "I am Santa Claus" (to the tune of Iron Man).
"And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you—ask what you can do for your country. My fellow citizens of the world: ask not what America will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man." -- JFK Inaugural, 1961
"Extremism in the defense of liberty is not a vice." -- Barry Goldwater, 1964 GOP Nomination acceptance speech (not George W. Bush 40 years later...)

"Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer", of course, followed closely by Weird Al's "The Night Santa Went Crazy".
"THE" plus "IRS" makes "THEIRS". Coincidence? I think not.

              My favorite is Sleighride.
              He's got the Midas touch.
But he touched it too much!

The whole of the Phil Spector Christmas album- gorgeous good natured fun, especially when peformed by slightly tipsy drag queens at the Vauxhall Tavern in London.

The Coventry Carol, In the Bleak Midwinter, Stille Nacht, Heilige Nacht, Quoi, ma voisine, es-tu fachee? Now the Day Is Over, What is This Fragrance, Softly Stealing? and Jane Siberry singing 'Hockey', because it reminds me of friends far away.
Vive la liberte. Noor Inayat Khan, Dachau.

...patriotism is not enough. I must have no hatred or bitterness towards anyone. Edith Cavell, 1915

No one's mentioned either Weird Al's "Christmas at Ground Zero" or Radio Free Vestibule's "Christmas on Acid" yet? I'll have to fix that.

                  Oh, wait...

It isn't Christmas for me until I hear "Christmas Time". Its the first song playing in the Charlie Brown Christmas on TV. I've been watching that since it first came out (I must have been 3 or 4 at the time. Christmas is a magical time for kids around that age. )
