    I no longer foresee long, idle hours at "work" when I can read and post the day away.
    How about forseeing idle hours at home when you can read and post the night away?

    (Incidently, given the amount of time I've spent here kvetching about US foreign policy, it may amuse some of you -- and appall others -- to know that I'm about to sign on with the State Department, in the Foreign Service.)

            I've always enjoyed your posts. They are intelligent and often humorous, and rarely insulting to those who hold another viewpoint. I'm sure that you will drop in again at some point, and I look forward to it. Anyway, the people of Feedonia certainly deserve to have their president back in the saddle again. Cheers.

                  Congratulations on the new employment, Rufus. It's been a great pleasure to read the posts of someone who also appreciates the American cinema of the 1970s.
