  • Rap song question.

Anyone knows who sings the song that goes:

lalasomethinglala b!tch 'cause I'm the captain.

I apologize for the naughty (naughty naughty) word but it is one of the only 4 words I could understand from the song.

    A girl sings it.

    Very intoxicating, in its rythme.

    Thanks.

No but I can make you one with those words if you want to...we can call it Greek Connection. Would be a huge hit.
    In da butt.

OK. But then MTV will ask us to change it to a watered down version and then we could start breaking stuff at their central offices to prove how committed we are to our art which we are determined to "keep true"

Ahhhhh, you want it for it's very erudite and poetic lyrics then.
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God? - Epicurus

For its rythme obviously, which is superb. I think if the lyrics were in Greek, I would be too put off by them to listen to the song. But since they are in english, it's mostly just a sound to me.

To help some, I think this song is popular, it's definitely american and the voice of her who sings it resembles to the one who is known as (after some searching on the net) Khia.

One thing I wonder about rap songs - why do they sing all these words, like motherf*cking n*gger c0cks*cker, when they use the mute button in the final mix to cut the words out of the songs anyway? It make no sense at all. Either you have the words in your vocabulary and use them, or you don't. Anything in between is just lame.

It's not the 'final mix' it's the radio mix, so it can be played (ie advertised) on daytime (or whatever) radio

I still don't get it - why don't they stand for what they are saying?
