mind you, the reaction doesn't actually occur in the stomach. also, CO2 is not what we REALLY breath out. like the rest of the air around us, it's still mostly Nitrogen, and a big chunk of oxygen ( you heard me, we breathe out oxygen! ) the CO2 fraction is much larger than the one in the air we take in, by 20 or so, IIRC, but since the amount of CO2 we have in the air we breathe in is just 0.25%, this still means that the amount of CO2 in the mixture we breathe out is very low.
