they way xmas and santa claus have been worked up... it's sickening. just the other day, i opened up the rag ajc and saw as an ad for bloomingdales, i believe, the words: "all i want..."
christmas is not about "me".

I hate the fact that we're suddenly told to be mindful of "those less fortunate" than us.
It always cracks me up that the same people who wouldn't piss on a homeless guy if he was on fire suddenly become the paragon of charity and virtue

I love Christmas. I like the commercialism, the crappy old Rankin Bass shows, the tree and trimmings, the increased alcohol intake, wrapping and giving (and receiving), and the crisp cold weather. Christmas rules!
