I hope we have enough brains to turn Saddam over to the Iraqis for trial. Theywould dispense justice, plain & quick. Plus, an Iraqi trial would deprive Saddam of any "evil-US/evil-Israel" defense.

At the moment -- I am in too much of a celebratory mood to debate any issues tied with his capture -- I'll get my feet back on the ground in a day or so.

Cool!! Put him away forever, maybe he can feel what it's like to live without hope like so many of his innocent victims. This is a celebration day for all the people tortured and killed and thier families.

Everyone who was electrocuted, suffocated, burned with acid, beaten, raped, and mutilated can know that Saddam will never menace anyone again.

Of course, this does mean that the Iraqi resistance will become even more fundie and international terrorist in nature, the secular nationalists probably feel completely demoralized after this victory.

Plus is, I doubt we'll see anymore big attacks by Fedayeen Saddam types anymore.
