      Don't tell the bobbies...bring your own nightclub, find this guy, show him what you have in your hand and politely ask for the money, I mean quid, back.

      Better yet, forget all that....move to America. You seem tired, you did say you're poor....are you a huddled mass? Perhaps you wish to breathe free. Northern Ireland: The wretched refuse of your teeming shore, Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me.
      I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

      And we don't have quid here. The only thing we ask if a full background investigation, complete with an exhaustive biometric scan and data collection of your fingerprint, facial image, hand geometry, iris scan and generous DNA sampling. Once you have turned over your complete criminal, financial and voting records you may be allowed in -- but on a stirctly probabationary period. If you get a speeding ticket or drunk in public (you're irish after all) you get sent back.

        I'd call the guy up, give him a choice of paying you back and giving you the card back, or you go to the police with the video.
        Sounds like the best option to me.

          'quid' = 1 GPB
          'a few quid' = more than 1 GBP
          '16 quid'= 16 GBP

          geddit?

            Is that a lump sum of gold from the AI, or gold per turn?

            No, I guess I don't geddit, but I like your spelling of "geddit"!

                Sho,

                Quid isn't slang for money, it's slang for 1 pound :O)

                    True.
                    At least this has taken my mind off of my psycho stalker, who rings me up 4 times a day and tells me that she loves me.
                    I work with her too.
                    I have thought about handing my notice in at work quite a lot recently.

                              But the "jools for legs" deal is such a great one, especially as the tickets are free.
                              I mean, I'm not liable as it is not my signature on the debit slip, but still, would it not p*** you off if someone you knew had gone into your jacket, stolen your card and done their xmas shopping and cancelled yours.
