I have little to no clue what that sentence is trying to convey.

      What's the deal?
After Allie's thread, and the Boshko thread, has the decision been made to focus not so much on Gays; but rather on Tranny's and Furries?

It's actually a much bigger deal to the art world that the winner is a ceramicist.

By the way, he has the wrong hair colour and style of dress to be Dorothy. He looks much more like the young Baby Jane from 'Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?' .

Precise, not pedantic. I can just see you in the laboratory- 'Well it calls for 300 g of this and 200 ml of this, but oh, what the heck, let's not be pedantic about it...'

The fact that he's a trannie is irrelevant. The only factor for consideration is if he's good.

He is, but the prize should have gone to the Chapmans.

He is good; I had the chance to see the prize finalists at the Tate Britain two weeks ago, and I thought his was the most impressive exhibit.

The Chapmans were good, too; their "Insult to Injury" -- the one where they carefully altered all those Goya lithographs -- was my favorite piece in the show (Perry's "We Found the Body of Your Child" comes a close second). But I thought Perry's exhibit, taken as a whole, was more powerful.

The really creepy thing is how much he looks like his wife.
