    Did you feel you were blindsided by Dean's success?

    KERRY: Well, not blindsided. I mean, when I voted for the war, I voted for what I thought was best for the country. Did I expect Howard Dean to go off to the left and say, "I'm against everything"? Sure. Did I expect George Bush to f**k it up as badly as he did? I don't think anybody did.

    I still don't like him for the Dem's nomination, but at least the guy isn't a total stiff. If only he got on top of a mountain and shouted "**** GEORGE BUSH!"

        I'm begining to favour Kerry as my fave nominee. Not as left as Dean, so with more chance of beating GWB IMHO. The best of a bad bunch, admittedly, but I'd far prefer him to GWB.

          A lot of the dopey right believes Dubya is a saint... but conservatives like you know better.

          I remember when Bush insulted another candidate when the mic was left on during the 2000 primaries.

                  I more think the is for speaking candidly in a way that can capitalise if the WoT get's any worse. He isn't being completely anti-war like Dean, so accusations of being unpatriotic don't work as well, but he thinks it could be handled better, so can gain from people who don't like how it's turning out under GWB.

                        You know, this guy actually looks like a class mouth for the Dems. If the majority of the liberal electorate weren't such simplistic morons, they would have by now noted that putting up with him would garnish more disgruntled conservative votes than any other face.

                        In any case, **** on yourself and vote for Dean, et all. Then have fun losing election America 04.
