Mononucleosis doesn't seem that bad a guess, actually. The whole fatigue bit.
    All syllogisms have three parts.
Therefore this is not a syllogism.

The problem with flu like symptoms is that a lot of things start out with flu like symptoms. You could have the flu. You could have mono. You could have Ebola Zaire.

So either hunt down Dr. Strangelove or go find an in-person doctor.
Exult in your existence, because that very process has blundered unwittingly on its own negation. Only a small, local negation, to be sure: only one species, and only a minority of that species; but there lies hope. [...] Stand tall, Bipedal Ape. The shark may outswim you, the cheetah outrun you, the swift outfly you, the capuchin outclimb you, the elephant outpower you, the redwood outlast you. But you have the biggest gifts of all: the gift of understanding the ruthlessly cruel process that gave us all existence [and the] gift of revulsion against its implications.

Hmmm did a search on mono and found this:

don't think its that. My only headache is sinus, my sore throat has mostly gone away, my muscles don't ache, lymph nodes not really swollen, no jaundice, no rash and no abdominal soreness.

Could be influenza or mono, but it could be a bacterial sinusitis or something else entirely.

I was hoping the joking might help lift your mood. A real flu can suck more than you ever believed. Feel better soon.

Ebola? Mononucleosis? Talk about melodramatic. Alas there is no such thing as an online blood test so if things get worse he will have to see a doctor. Without more information it is impossible to act. But a strong flu can be very unpleasant.

The GP doctor in my town sucks horrifically, he didn't even bother taking my temperature last time I was there. This wouldn't be so annoying if I didn't have a low-grade cold ALL October and then a nasty middle ear infection in November that I only got over about two weeks before this thing kicked in. Aaaaaargh!

The first time I had mono I only had fatigue as symptom, but then mono was confirmed via blood test. The second time I had it the only major symptoms were fatigue and sore throat (throat so sore I couldn't eat for close to two weeks and lost 15% of my body mass).

Why is mono melodramatic? I've had it twice. Many people get it (ask around).

It's just not that common. Fact is, Boshko has had a change of environment and will be exposed to pathogens his immune system has not yet encountered, so he is picking up these little infections that kids get. And working with kids has exposed him to them. Hence he has had the sniffles for months and now this. He is building up his immune repertoire relevent to Korea.

Boshko. Have you had a flu shot this year? If not, then that is most likely it. And hey, those small town korea doctors can't be THAT bad. Korean people seem to do alright by them, right?

All I can imply from that is that you must have kissed your brother's girlfriend for some reason. Is there something you want to confess to, KH?
