But what has happened to the Stade Toulousain? The club was so ahead of the others that he kept its momentum for a few years but the game played got poorer and poorer. The individualities are still well coached and allow the Stade to make the difference most of the time (not sunday obviously), but there is no more a game "à la Toulousaine" as it was the case a few years ago. The Stade Toulousain is today a team among the others... and that hurts. The problem will be difficult to solve because I can't see a long term game project and because the Noves family has locked the club to secure its position. Today I only see a group of players deep into a routine, no more sparks...
Too much stability can rhyme with sclerosis.
