well you can find whores at some of the bars in the casinos though. They are a kind of slut. but you will be buying them drinks. And they aren't exactly legal prostitutes either.

Comedy shows could be our choice as one thing or magician.. But I think we'll go for the comedians..
Excalibur has jousting? COOL! I've been to one of those restaurants in Spain. It was this big castle, a real castle I think and they had these medieval chicks bringing food in, and then there were these knights going nuts on each other, and we had our own knight to cheer for.. it was lots of fun. That's one option for place to eat definitely!

I'm kind of ashamed to admit, but I've never been to a real strip club.. I've been to bars where they had strippers dancing and all that, but they weren't real strip clubs. So I don't know they must have some policies like.. I don't know. I don't know the tipping policies either and stuff like that. They must have whole bunch of rules, I don't know any of them.. I think we'll need to visit some though.. We might have only 3 days in there, but I figure we can do whole lots of stuff, as we don't sleep too much

Do they do those shows, like comedy stuff and magicians and all at day time? Is Las Vegas literally 24h place?
Also, we need to see what we go to see, I think those shows are expensive.... right?

most shows will be evening or night shows.

They can get pricey. Some are less than $100, but you can expect to pay on average $100 per person. That may include 1 or 2 drinks with the show depending on what it is. The comedy shows will be cheaper though. They don't have these huge productions like the "arty" shows.

yes slots. I don't think we'll get prostitutes. I'm pretty sure about this a) we can't afford it really.

I figured you can't get your booze.. 'Keep'em coming!' won't work without giving a nice tip I bet..
I think we would most prefer very central kind of positioning with our hotel.. Close to 'where it's happening'

$100 a person for one show, and only few drinks possibly? Agh, that sucks . We have a big vacation there, we'll be in NYC, roadtripping the westcoast.. snowboarding mountains.. we can't afford that I'm afraid..

you don't need to give big tips to keep the booze coming. Though it is a curtosy. Many workers here in Vegas rely on tips to suppliment their income. Often I'll tip a dollar when they bring a drink. You don't need to tip more than that. And if I'm drinking a lot, I might only tip a dollar every other drink.

And some shows may be cheaper- you might find a comedy show lot cheaper. $100 plus is for the big production shows like Momma Mia and Celine Deion.

The thing is, if you're gambling- you're already losing money . So you are paying for your drink. The trick is not losing money while gambling. Easier said than done. I wouldn't suggest gambling as a way to make money. Probably won't happen. Gamble in something you enjoy. You want to play a game you enjoy, and preferribly don't lose too much money playing

Nicholas Cage was in "Leaving Las Vegas", not Jack Nicholson.

I MEANT Nicholas Cage.. I always get his name mixed up with Jack Nicholson. Naturally I remember Nicholson being who he is.. but I always have to struggle to get Cage right... so, Jack Nicholas... Pfft...

Dissident, yeah the plan would be gambling so, that the drinking is cheaper than actually buying it.. but how can I play so.... Maybe we shouldn't even try it, gamble some, but that's it. Though we are unlikely to have problems.. gambling is legal here, and we have slots everywhere, in grocery stores, bars etc etc.. roulettes, black jacks in bars, and small 'casinos' are everywhere so.. nothing new really. What I mean to say, I've played a lot in my life and noticed, that I don't have a gambling addiction, I always see how much I can afford to lose, and I never cross it. No problems at all. I like the game itself, not the money so much. Also I don't want to lose much, and then get the feeling that I need to win it back, leading me to lose even more...................

Maybe we should just buy our drinks when we're drinking.. booze is hella cheap there anyway. And if the Euro is doing good.. man.. they cost like european cents!

I was driving by Boulder Station on my way to work (it's near my house) and noticed the sign saying rooms for $29.99 sunday through thursay. Weekend rates will be higher of course. But that gives you an indication of how cheap the prices can go. It's not real close to the strip though. It's about 4 miles from the strip. It's nothign fancy, just a room. But it's a pretty good price. I have never seen prices that cheap anywhere in the U.S.- excpet maybe a hostel.
