Yeah, I guess it's beacuse you have to apply to these fraternities (guys) and sororities (girls).. and I think, that there are for example fraternities that are considered 'cooler' than others, while others might have smarter individuals in it. I don't know, that's what they portray in the movies. The Greek letters? That I don't know.. I guess it's just how they have always named them..
So the point would be, that the America is the cool fraternity, and we Euros are the other fraternities, not as cool as them, but we try so hard to be like them. Without succeeding.In da butt.

Anyway, I don't think we should't try "to be like them". Now that the Cold War is over we have to find our own way, our interests are not automatically the American interests anymore.Within weeks they'll be re-opening the shipyards

I dunno... If you look at 20th century Europe with all those millions of people killed I think there is only one way to go.
