    There are, I'm sure.

If there are, then how many of those d'you think have been bought by plush-loving furries who insert strategically placed holes in them?

I don't want to know. Besides, I'm not that into Usagi. It's just now that the author is associated with them I'll never be able to read a book w/o thinking of furries.

I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned

      Furries ruin everything, don't they?

Nah, gays don't ruin everything. Some of them have been attempting to ruin some things, like with that "Spongebob is a gay icon" thingy (or was that the fundies? Can't remember.)

Furries ruin *everything* though. Furries and slash fiction. Slash fiction is kinda gay, considering it contains buggering gentlemen, but it's not usually written by actual gays, more like bored hausfraus from American Midwest.

IIRC that was the fundies. Remember they went after the teletubbies as well.

They may not have ruined everything yet, but they're getting close. They've already ruined heterosexual men, for example. The fabulous bastards...

Goddamn furries. They surround me from every side. I made a search on the Usenet on the Pixies' song "Caribou" and got this.

                    Let me knife...

                      Yet another diversion for Stefu.

                      No furries here.

Women want to woo presidential candidate
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Democratic presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich hasn't found love yet on the campaign trail. Then again, with his eye on the White House, he said Sunday he hasn't had much time for matchmaking.

The Ohio congressman, twice-divorced, said on ABC television that he has been flooded with responses from women wanting to date him but has had no time to meet any of them.

The Web site www.politicsnh.com opened a national contest to find a wife for Kucinich after a November 5 forum in New Hampshire in which the candidates were asked what role their first lady or spouse would play in their White House.

Kucinich took the opportunity to "fantasize" about his ideal first lady, saying he wants a dynamic, outspoken woman who wants world peace, health care for all and a full-employment economy.

"I have been hearing from a lot of people," he said Sunday. "I'm amazed by it all. It's like -- it's one of those things that just -- you know, what can I say?"

The New Hampshire Web site received some 80 essays, many with photos, of women seeking to go out with the presidential hopeful.

What, you have a problem with Ann being our 1st lady?

For the past 17 years I have been living just outside a rural "New Age" healing community for whom I work as a writer/photographer/publisher and Minister. Pryor to that, I published a magazine in Marin and was a political activist, and before that, a happy anti-war hippy on the Lower East Side. My California New Age community is so peaceful and open that people from every religious, national and ethnic background live here and feel at home, including my ex-husband.

                          Or Kate...

so, like everyone else, i am a huge fan of kucinich. i was very depressed about the options for president until i heard about him and he seemed to good to be true because he has my politics. i would love to have a date with dennis. okay, so i'm a little young, but we are all leftists here, let's not be ageists! in december i will come back from doing just under 6 months of volunteer work and activism in palestine. i decided to come out here after feeling like protesting the iraq war and civil disobedience in the states was just no cutting it for me. i wanted to feel and see for myself the consequences of u.s. foreign policy. i am a student at an art school in los angeles. my major is photography and media, but i also make films, draw, do installations, dance, have a band where i sing, play some guitars, and keyboards, etc. my life pretty much consists of helping other people and
                          creating.

the photo is of me at the no war in iraq oscar protest. i dressed in a gown, wig, and tiara and covered myself in blood, cuts, and bullet holes. in my interviews that day i explained that i was wearing the costume to make the statement that over a million iraqi's die from our sanctions, thousands from our bombs and we do not see one of their faces on t.v. now, if one famous person died, or a european or american was killed by a bomb it would be all over every channel.

Damn, I need to see Kate without all the blood on her face. It might be high time for me to pretend to be a leftist nutjob.

This was not a double post. It was a highly advanced thesis on the peculiarities of a llama digestive tract. But not a double post. Not.

                                Hubba hubba!

Seriously, though, Dennis creates pure wacky on a weekly basis. This man needs to be kept in the race for as long as possible. When he loses the Democratic Primary, he needs to continue as a third-party candidate. In fact, I don't think that even losing the election should matter too much - there's always 2008.
