  • Theory: this is Utopia

Utopia will never happen, as there are too many wills and would require an ultra dictatorship ( ). Kinda like the movie STAR WARS. But on the other hand, people often say "aaah, remember the good old times" but very rarely say "this is the good times". That's because the brain is programmed to remember mostly the good events and not the bad.

The goal is not the goal itself, blah blah blah. This is Utopia. Am I mentally deranged?

I just realized how ironic this thread must seem to all the internet jerkers.

So you're saying that this moment is utopia because we have forgotten bad things that happened in the past?

If you measure aggregate happiness from all consciousness right now, yes

The past always feels "safer" because we have "gotten through it"

and ultra dictatorship isn't a bad thing if it's run according to the will of the people. or, better yet, if you don't know it exists.

You can't do that, that's cheating. You have to take the mode, at least the median.

If so, then how do you define it? Eternal happiness where everyone has a red ballon and walk around with a mindless smile? It's making me nauseaus... Due to nature's cruelty/wisdom, man is designed for struggle.

My guess is that just existing is Utopia... Of course, I will have to forget this insight else everything will be ******* boring
