A past regular commute was into London.

      Charing Cross
      Waterloo East
      London Bridge
      Orpington or Chelsfield
      Sevenoaks

Even though I never took the rest of the journey to Hastings I still know all the stops from the station announcements

      Tonbridge
      Tunbridge Wells
      Frant
      Wadhurst
      Stonegate
      Etchingham
      Robertsbridge
      Battle
      Crowhurst
      West St Leonards
      St Leonards Warrior Square
      and HASTINGS!
One day Canada will rule the world, and then we'll all be sorry.

Sunday morning and Thursday evening I take a train to and from the dorms. Ashdod-Yavne-Rehovot-Lod-Tel Aviv Hagana-Tel Aviv Hashalom-Tel Aviv Center-Tel Aviv University. And then a bus to dorms because the train station is on the other side of the uni and my bags are heavy.

On regular days it's a 3 minutes walk across the street to the uni, then about 3 minutes of waiting in the main gate while the guards check everyone's bags and then a 10 minutes walk to the Engineering Faculty buildings.

3 minutes by bike, about 7, sometimes even as much as 8 minutes on foot

7 1/2 mile journey. 10 minutes by scooter (plus 3 or 4 minutes at each end to get into and out of the riding clothes and helmet).

I could get a bus - sort of. But that would mean getting to work at 8.10 am or 9.45 am, not 9.00 am as I need to. The reason? The bus company takes buses off the quieter routes to use on the school contracts between 8.30 and 9.00 am.

                    5 minute walk to 'work'

In fact I can walk everywhere here - otherwise it is the trusty mountain bike...

I suppose I catch a bus twice every fortnight on average and maybe a couple of train rides a month...

A previous commute in London was:

New Cross Gate tube station on East London Line
                    Surrey Quays
Change at Canada Water for Jubilee Line
                    Canary Wharf

Door to desk in as little as 25 mins on a good day and all Zone 2 travel at £10 a week!
Is it me, or is MOBIUS a horrible person?

I usually drive to school, but when I go to work, I drive to the station and take the train/subway in.

The stops on the North/South line (10 minute trip from Lindbergh to Five Points):

                      Lindbergh Center
                      Arts Center
                      Midtown
                      North Avenue
                      Civic Center
                      Peachtree Center
                      Five Points
“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

10 minutes on bike... I have no clue what the streets I use is called

If I had to use public transportation I had to ride 5 minutes to the nearest bus stop
This space is empty... or is it?

But on New Year's Eve, I'll catch a Train from Wollongong to Sydney - which I expect to take 90 minutes.
