  • F.uck is cleared for use on cable TV by the FCC.

So does that mean we can use it here at apolyton now?

      very old news.

there was a thread on it.

EDIT: So long as I'm here I'll make an actual attempt of a post

"F*ck" is allowed when it does not have a sexual inference--Barney can say "that's ****in' great" or "**** that" but he can't say "I want to **** you" etc.

Also, the FCC only allows it. There is not some mandate to require cable broadcasters to use f*ck.

Finally, Apolyton is not a cable broadcaster. It is a private Internet website, and its owners determine what to do with it.

      P. S. Ming's already warned me that using censor words in thread titles, especially getting around the censor by things like F.uck, is good cause to close the thread.

Though, of course, I like the f-word. It's politically correct as far as I am concerned.

              I want details.

What is it cleared for? Does it have to be censored (ala South Park). Does it have to be in a certain context. What channels can it be used on?

If it's cable why should the FCC have anything to do with it?
