  • Favourite chill-out shareware game

Just wondering what quick shareware game you play to chill out (if any at all).

Since I got my Amiga back in the 90's, I seem to have always had a favourite small (usually desktop orientated) shareware game, which ive played to chill out to) ..

My current is Kyodai's Mahjongg (http://www.kyodai.com)

Was just wondering what is your current fav shareware game ??

well, technically it's freeware, i think, but it's the finnish game porrasturvat and its sequel: stair and truck dismount.

It's about pushing people down stairs, or tossing them out the windshield of a truck (in the sequel).

the story is that some superhero needs to prove that he suffered injuries in saving the city so he can get out of paying taxes or something.

but it uses physics to simulate impacts based on a rag-doll sort of dynamic. devilishly fun, especially 'cause you get higher scores for more damage.

though, there are some inconsistencies. getting squished by the truck may not get you as high of a score as being tumbled around inside of it.

It's not technically shareware, but I always give Minesweeper a go when I'm fed up of working.

My shareware/freeware to chill out is gunbound. Its really popular in korea and other asian countries i think. The sys req is very low so you can easily run this on a laptop and have 4v4 games in one room or hall. I mostly play this game with my asian bros while eating watching tv smoking and just trash talking.

Gunbound is a casual game where you can customize your avatar, chose a mobile by its skillset, meet new friends from around the World and test your skills.

I remember some shareware for the Amiga with little tanks - terrible graphics but the gameplay was superb. This was free on the cover of Amiga Power (the Amiga tabloid basically), and they also carried this game with a 2-D version of dogfighting. Brilliant fun for 2 players! Did IK+ ever get released as shareware?

Sorry I couldn't remember the names of these shareware jewels.
