                  The results

Note that the winner got something other then the highest score on only 3 questions and in each case found the answer that scored only one point less. The runner up and 3rd place finisher both blew up on question 8 by choosing "42" and "no " respectively while 6 apolytoners knew that " seven" is the number most picked between one and 10. There also must be an insider practice of picking zylka when asked to name an apolytoner as missing that 9 pointer put a few people out of contention

                  the standings

                  Boshko 47
                  Uncle sparky 42
                  Comrade tass 41.5
                  immortal wombat 38
                  Wernazuma III 38

                  self biased 26
                  kassiopeia 25

and in the cellar in a three way tie

Best answer goes to comrade tassadar who obviously looked it up and earns a bonus half point

Huddled against the biting wind of a January gale, a thin young man sits miserably in the stern of a small boat battling its way across the churning waters of Spithead Bay. It is 1793, and Horatio Hornblower is reporting to duty aboard the battleship Justinian... The epic saga of the legendary sea-faring hero comes to life in these epic films based on C.S. Forester’s classic novels. Set against the bloody backdrop of the Napoleonic wars, HORNBLOWER charts a course for high adventure, following the raw recruit as he battles the French, evades capture, and rises through the ranks of the King’s Navy. With a powerful performance by Ioan Gruffud (Titanic) in the title role and produced by the Emmy®-winning team behind JANE AUSTEN’S EMMA, HORNBLOWER brings C.S. Forester’s classic tales to life in all their swashbuckling glory.

                  8 seven -- 6 points
                  All others 1 point

                  9. midnight 3
                  bedtime 2
                  10 o'clock 2
                  never/ don't sleep 2
                  all else 1

                  So the winner is Boshko--

Twenty-five? Looking at the scores, I ought to have at least thirty points. Not that I'd win even if you recounted them.
Cake and grief counseling will be available at the conclusion of the test. Thank you for helping us help you help us all!

And for number 6 how could it be anything but:

                            Finland, Finland, Finland.
The country where I want to be,
                            Pony trekking or camping,
                            Or just watching TV.
                            Finland, Finland, Finland,
                            It's the country for me.

                            You're so near to Russia,
                            So far from Japan.
Quite a long way from Cairo,
                            Lots of miles from Vietnam.

                            Finland, Finland, Finland.
The country where I want to be,
                            Eating breakfast or dinner,
Or snack lunch in the hall.
                            Finland, Finland, Finland,
                            Finland has it all.

                            You're so sadly neglected,
                            And often ignored,
                            A poor second to Belgium,
                            When going abroad.

                            Finland, Finland, Finland.
The country where I quite want to be,
                            Your mountains so lofty,
                            Your treetops so tall.
                            Finland, Finland, Finland,
                            Finland has it all.

                            Finland, Finland, Finland.
The country where I quite want to be,
                            Your mountains so lofty,
                            Your treetops so tall.
                            Finland, Finland, Finland,
                            Finland has it all.

                            Finland has it all...
