Since you aren't tracing your family tree back to the Roman period when that whole group of tribes were considered "Germanic" you should refer to your heritage as Nordic or Scandinavian.

Otherwise, we should be calling "Germanic" half the people of France, northern Iberia, and Italy—descendants of Franks, Visigoths and Vandals, and Lombards.
