i've never considered myself yellow. it's the only description availible, but i don't care for it. (despised is too harsh a word.)

not only does it make us sound jaundiced, but cowardly.

I don't think of those things when I think of yellow. As far as I know only Americans call someone yellow if they are a coward.

seriously, I have Gilbert's, and can turn yellow, when sick or stressed.

whites aren't really white (thank god for that!), blacks aren't black and "yellows" aren't yellow.

Skin colors are a lot more varied than different shades of brown, Gangerolf.

sure, but no-one is 100% white or 100% black or 100% Simpsons yellow either.

Besides, there can be thousands of different shades of brown, ranging from very light to nearly black. I guess it depends on what you define as brown or a shade of brown..

Agreed. If they were, they certainly wouldn't look human.

There can also be many shades of yellow/orange/red. I have even seen greenish shades on the odd occasion (no, they weren't seasick ).

I don't think anyone of any real worth today has any problem with interracial relations. It's an old taboo perpetuated by hate groups and old people.
