Yep, Dr. K himself. In the draft report Kerry circulated to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on BCCI, there was a whole section on the relationship between BCCI and Kissinger Associates.

Ah, I believe an investigative journalist, Danny something, who ended up dead in his hotel room from "suicide" was writing a book on BCCI and I think he referred to the scandal as "the Octopus" because of all the tentacles leading from or to BCCI.
As I recall, Mosad and the CIA just to name a couple were using BCCI to filter (is laundering a term used only when it's illegal?) money. Funny, that whole episode seems to have disappeared from the radar screen...Comment
