There's no codeine in Nyquil. The "secret" sleep ingredient is diphenhydramine, aka, Benedryl.

i mean, the flavors GREEN and RED present in nyquil taste like nothing else in existence.

god, i love benadryl and nyquil. you can really have the entire druggie but not quite thing going. pop a few benadryl pills or take a shot of nyquil and you'll be sleeping like a baby for the next 10 hours.
