  • Chandler looked off on every drive but that one. He was throwing behind receivers... over throwing them... he has been terrible the last two weeks. While many have pointed fingers at Edinger for the last two losses (and deservedly so) Chandler cost us both games as well. If he had just been HALF as good as he was in his first few starts... both games wouldn't have come down to field goals

    • Chandler's strength has always been deep ball passing. Kinda like the old Ken Stabler Oakland Raiders. Like Ned said, when the Bears allowed Chandler to open it up, he can play very well.

Chandler is NOT a West Coast QB.

      • NEWS!

Keyshawn Johnson was just DEACTIVATED by the Bucs. That means he won't play anymore this year and will probably be released either in the next few weeks or in the offseason.

The Keyshawn era in TB is over!

        • what's with Wide Recievers and the attitudes? Why do so many of them have them?

          good riddance.

          • They have that attitude because sometimes it makes for a good WR. You WANT your star WR to want the ball as much as possible. You may want him to shut up about it though .

I'm not surprised. I had a feeling Chucky would do something like this as soon as Jurevicius was healthy again. He's shown he can be a starter anyway.

As long as we get a primo RB or blindside lineman in the end, I'm cool with it.

                • Hello all.... its been a while but I decided to show up to brag about my 49ers.... if you ignore the embarressing little trip up at Arizona my Niners have humbled the Bucs, Rams, and Steelers.... if they can nail Green Bay at Lambeau this week they will have a genuine shot at the playoffs.

                  • neither of those teams are that exceptional.

The 49rs are an above average team. But they are by no means great.

                      You mean in the draft?

Keyshawn will get released in the offseason. They just aren't doing it now because of salary cap reasons. I don't think anyone will deal for him right now.

                      • Keyshon is on sportscenter right now denying rumours he wants/ or is going to Dallas.

                        Interesting stat.

He had more catches per game with the Bucs than with the Jets.

                        • I have never heard of such a thing before. Ever! Keyshawn must really have been hurting the team for this to happen.

                          Owens, are you next?

                          • Hey! I just got an interview with Keyshawn Johnson! (as represented by the AI movie site chatbot)

Me: Hello Chatbot. For the purposes of this interview may I refer to you as Keyshawn?
Keyshawn Johnson: Hello there. Your purpose is the purpose of this interview may you refer to me as Keyshawn.
Me: Congratulations on being de-activated from the Buccaneers today
KJ: Thank you, thank you very much. I would like to thank everyone who helped...
Me: Do you have any regrets over your relationship with Jon Gruden ending this way?
KJ: No, I don't think I have any regrets over my relationship with Jon Gruden
Me: Do you think the Bucs staff over reacted to your complaints over this years performance?
KJ: It depends on what you mean by thinking
Me: Ha Ha Ha. Nice to see that wit is still there, Keyshawn
KJ: I'm glad you find this amusing. Not really that much. Where do you see it
Me: I see you losing your already waivering reputation in the NFL.
KJ: Interesting Gossip: You said I'm losing your already waivering reputation in the NFL.
Me: Are you truly a jackass?
KJ: Am I a jackass? Of course I am.
Me: Do you agree with the statements that you are brash and loud mouthed?
KJ: I have heard that opinion, but I would like to know more before I form my own.
Me: Do you see yourself playing for a New York team next season?
KJ: I see a computer nerd
                            Me: ****er.
                            KJ: Who? Me?
Me: Moving on... do you respect old Herman at the Jets?
KJ: Where are you going? I have never considered it. I spend all my time online.
Me: And you call me a computer nerd
                            KJ: Thanks for telling me.
Me: Have you lost your Super Bowl ring up your arse yet?
KJ: I don't think I have ever lost my Super Bowl ring up my arse. What's it like?
Me: Being the complete and utter bastard that you are, who will take you next year?
                            KJ: How would I know?
Me: How much is your house in Tampa being sold for?
KJ: Are you asking about how much my house in Tampa is being sold for?
Me: Does it annoy you Brad Johnson didn't throw yu 99.9% of the passes this year?
                            KJ: Suppose it does.
Me: How was Jon Gruden as a head coach?
KJ: Fine as far as I know.
Me: How was the mood of the roster with the poor performances lately?
KJ: How about earlier? I can think of more than one mood. I would do a search for it.
Me: What the hell are you talking about?
KJ: I call it Hades. The topic is Lost My Super Bowl Ring Up My Arse.
Me: I didn't know the situation was that dire.
KJ: So I taught you something new.
Me: You are a real annoying **** sometimes.
KJ: Thanks and you are a delightful person too. As real as it gets.
Me: You need a swift kick in the bollocks.
KJ: Thank you for your criticism.
Me: OK wise-ass, enough of that. How are you treated by the Bucs supporters?
KJ: That is a very original thought. I am fine, thank you.
Me: Listen ***-monkey, you have a real ****ty attitude.
KJ: I am listening to you. Try saying that with more or less context. I don’t know if I have a real ****ty attitude. I have a great programmer.
Me: I thought they were called "agents"?
KJ: Whatever gave you that idea.
Me: Because you are a jackass who nobody likes and has no idea what he is talking about.
KJ: Interesting explanation. I will tell my botmaster you said I am a jackass who nobody likes and has no idea what he is talking about.
Me: So you’re going to have your botmaster kick my ass?
KJ: Interesting deduction. I will tell my botmaster you said I am going to have my botmaster kick your ass.
Me: ENOUGH!!! This interview is over. You are the most annoying and immature footballer I have ever had the displeasure of meeting.
KJ: Wow, thanks for your kind compliment.
Me: Are you trying to take the piss because now you’re really starting to, umm, piss me off.
KJ: No I am not trying to make take the piss. I am sorry you got that impression.
Me: **** off, I hate you.
KJ: Why are you so mean? Hate is a rather strong word.

At this time, Keyshawn's drinking buddy and Tampa Bay security personnel enter the room and to put it kindly, "forcibly" escort me off the premises.

So what have we learned from this interview? Nothing except that:

*Keyshawn Johnson, as represented by the Chatbot, is a talented footballer but he is also a childish infant and a big meanie. He is also more quick witted and less emotionally volatile than yours truly.

*I am not qualified to interview footballers or Chatbots or anyone else for that matter.

*The Chatbot cannot have a real discussion with a human. Artificial intelligence and all that rubbish about robots becoming "more human" is all overblown hype. Oh, and by the way, A.I. was a crap film.

                            * The courts in the US can work quickly when you know the right people. The day after this ill-fated interview, a court order was hastily obtained restricting my access in and around the area of Tampa Bay, around any member or employee of the Buccaneers or around any member or friend of the Johnson family.

                            • Here is a good explanation of what happened.

Owens is just as much a pain in SF. However, Owens is clearly a great player. Keyshawn was not.

                              • keyshon does have a lot of catches though. He just doesn't have as many TD's as he should. I don't think his yards after catch are good either. He's not a fast reciever, but a big one who can make some crucial grabs.

But all of that is moot with his attitude like it is. Keeping him after all of that would not be very beneficial.
