Which side are we on? We're on the side of the demons, Chief. We are evil men in the gardens of paradise, sent by the forces of death to spread devastation and destruction wherever we go. I'm surprised you didn't know that. --Saul Tigh
Sorry about that weather. My wife and I went to Conneticut this weekend and we dragged our temps out there... It was strange. We leave here, 70-80 degree weather to go there where it has been raining and such. We get there and it was beautiful all weekend. We come home to find that it has been cold and raining all weekend (rain last night), but today is nice and clear...

A single snowflake has to land on the roof of the Met Office in London. Being the huge metropolis it is, London's temperature will generally be about 4 degres centigrade higher than it should. Plus it's a large building- jam packed full of computers and other equipment, that is never turned off- that generates some additional heat- i.e. it's probably got to be below minus 10C (14F, according to onlineconversion.com) before snow wont melt & turn to sleet above the building.
