    :laughs: lars certainly is better than average, but he's no raymond herrera or Matt from mudvayne. those are top class act percussionists.

    if they wanted raw, why not go to someone like ross robinson. hello? anyone hear Korn's first album? what about sepultura's roots? or Soulfly's first album?

    yeah... they should only let lars out of his box to play. and that's it. although you really could call metallica
    the hetfeild/ulrich experience.

      don't be bad mouthing Lars drumming dammit!!

      I like St. Anger alot. I like it better than the black album, and the load albums.

      Basically I liked Metallica when they really rocked.

      and I like hearing the double bass drum. And Lars finally found the double bass after losing it for the black album and the load albums.

        that's the thing: we all agree that he's a competent drummer. he just needs his vocal chords forcibly removed from his larynx, that's all. like all good drummers, he should keep his philosophical views outside of "hickory or metal drumsticks?" to himself.
