  • Why is the administration covering up 9/11?

People have said the idea Bush is responsible for 9/11 as preposterous. But if so, why are they not releasing documents related to 9/11? What are they covering up?

At the very least, Bush should be impeached for this.

doh! I made a typo on choke. Well, you know what I mean. I don't have the ability to edit polls...yet.

The idea that Bush was behind the attacks is just stupid.

Well, vote for one of the other options then...

I think Bush was wholly unaware of the attack. Otherwise, the panic that has stricken the whole administration (and Bush himself) for hours would really be a mastermind's play.

The Commission needs to use its subpeona powers. It's just done so with documents the FAA has, but it needs to stop *****-footing around with the White House and grow some juevos.

I'm sure there was no administration pre-knowledge, if for no other reason than that they wouldn't have left Captain Flightsuit looking so utterly clueless that morning.

What Bush might be worried about is Grover Norquist's involvement with Abdurahman Alamoudi, arrested in London with $340,000 in cash from Libya a month or two ago. Supposedly Alamoudi has also been getting lots of funding from Wahhabi sources in Saudi Arabia.

Norquist's releationship goes back to 1999; early in the Bush administration, he managed to get Alamoudi a private meeting with Karl Rove in the White House. That probably doesn't seem as bright an idea today as it did at the time.

There's not necessarily anything there that merits an indictment, much less a conviction, but it does look bad. If nothing else, the Constitutional phrase, "adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort" comes to mind. Let's see, what context was that in?

Neo-conservatives seem to be the ones really pushing this right now. See Center for Security Policy. Neo-cons Frank Gaffney and John Loftus (apologist for Jonathan Pollard) have also been on this. Loftus talked about it on MSNBC on Thursday evening.

                This looks like civil war.

I think Bush planned it, financed it, and trained the hijackers on his Texas ranch.

The facts are plainly there. Any educated liberal can see them.

Not again. The last time the Republicans/Democrats fought a Civil War the Democrats didn't gain much out of it. Why do they think it would be different today? The Republicans are still the gun owners.
