With my experience, I wonder if I could now get away with omitting my degree classification

you lot should see my cv, a few crappy results plus my vast amount of worldly experiance. i've sorted papers, shoveled ****, lugged bricks, mended cars and picked fruit (i hate working indoors)

          ...and even confused Germans

Perhaps now my PhD has shuffled out of recent history, the next time I revise my CV I may have just been a research assistant

No, I am in a year contract now with Novartis earning considerably more than I was in my previous job. Only problem is it is in Grimsby (yum, gorgeous place ), but I can afford to live fairly comfortably here though...

Enjoy it while it lasts. I am just trying to find myself a nice **** pad here in Lincolnshire, but I haven't seen anything but sh*tholes that I wouldn't let my dog piss on...

Why do you think they call it Grimsby.

Currently commuting from Hull but it is getting expensive with having to pay the bridge toll twice a day plus the petrol. Yeah, Cleethorpes has some pretty nice places and I am going to see one tomorrow, so it looks like I may be moving to the seaside if it is nice

Grimsby is beautiful - if you are a fan of dereliction and the smell of rotting fish

living by the sea is great though, even if it is bloody freezing this time of year.
