They didn't actually join that year. Bear in mind that 1969 was before a) Apolyton was formed, b) the internet was in use and c) many of the people with 1969/1970 join dates were even born.
But I guess they can still tell stories.

I'm a 1999 guy myself. That was with a screen name before this one- which was registered in feb 2000. Right after SMAC came out, I registered my first screen name here.
Remember those days? Smac was the greatest game ever- for a few months at least

I got my first real six string.
Bought it at the five and dime.
Played it 'till my fingers bled.
Was the summer of '69.
Me and some guys from school,
