    1 litre of unleaded petrol: NZ$1 ~ £0.33/US$0.50/€0.50
    1 litre of diesel: NZ$0.60 ~ £0.20/US$0.30/€0.30
    1 litre of water: NZ$2.20 ~ £0.75/US$1.10/€1.10

      many restaraunts no longer automatically serve water when eating there. Though that depends on if the city in question has water problems.

      In my city you have to ask for water with your meal.

      I was suprised a small hick restaurant in the sierra nevadas had water that tasted very cholorinated. You would think they would have fresh snow melt.

      In any case, our tap water here tastes like actual crap. And it is fluorinated as well.

      The best "tap" water I had? Potable water on a navy ship. Very pure, tastes great.
