Nothin'. Serve it up with a helping of rice, and you've got some traditional Chinese delicacies.“As a lifelong member of the Columbia Business School community, I adhere to the principles of truth, integrity, and respect. I will not lie, cheat, steal, or tolerate those who do.”

I suppose if you like watching your wife suffer you might want to keep a childbirth tape.Any views I may express here are personal and certainly do not in any way reflect the views of my employer. Tis the rising of the moon..
Look, I just don't anymore, okay?

I was very tempted to do the whole placenta fricasse thing, but I ended up feeling self-conscious about asking for a doggie bag in an operating theatre. The genesis of the "evil Finn" concept- Evil, evil Finland

Realistic AND sentimental. That's some great home movie. And then when would people actually WATCH it, and who on earth would they SHOW it to?

Sadly, I don't think this is an isolated case because new parents do all sorts of stupid things. Showing "intimate" home videos is just the tip of the iceburg next comes the inability to speak in anything but baby talk, going out in public wearing clothes which junior just upchucked on, and a totally with drawing from outside social activities.
Thanks but I can do most of that without a kid when I'm in my 90's.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.

When I saw my sister born, it was the most amazing thing I had ever seen. It is a miracle of nature. You don't have to show it to anyone. Maybe you just want to keep something to remind you of what is awe-inspiring in life.
My mother wasn't lying down during the birth, though. She used what is called a "birthing stool." So I didn't have to stare at her junk... probably helped to make it a beautiful, rather than embarrassing, moment.
Another reason is for educational purposes. I know when I was pregnant, I was scared to death of what it would be like. Describing it is just not the same.If you look around and think everyone else is an *******, you're the *******.

Humor aside, childbirth is a wondrous, almost mystical, event for me.
A life is beginning for the first time — or again, if you believe that we live more than once — for that new child, and the possibilities are limitless. For a mother to allow others to be a part of this intimate experience is an honor, IMO.
And, yes, I do watch TLC's Maternity Ward ... the little screamers are so ADORABLE (the babies, that is).

We were once forced to watch a video of a lady giving birth in biology. I was 14, and it was disgusting. It was, in fact, the most disgusting thing i have ever seen. I could never put a woman through that, and i could never watch it again.
I have whacthed 18rated shootem ups and stuff since i was 5, but this is perhaps the only thing that has 'damaged' me for life i think.
And then you think i would want to whatch my own mother going through it?eimi men anthropos pollon logon, mikras de sophias
