  • Faded Glory - Sad News!

    Received today from Faded's Brother...

The member, my brother, known as faded glory or Stevo as we all called him elsewhere was sadly killed in a car accident involving a drunk driver Tuesday night. He fought a hard battle but lost his fight at 2 am Wednesday. Cleaning out his place and just thought I would inform you of these events. These were his favorite places and he had alot of friends on the internet gaming sites. The scope of this tragedy once again reminds us of the value of life. He was 28 years old and lived a somewhat normal life.

He will be missed. May he rest in peace

    Regards, Dave

Yes... may he rest in peace. My prayers go out to Dave and the rest of his family and friends.
    Keep on Civin'
RIP rah, Tony Bogey & Baron O

Many thanx for making us aware of this, Ming. Faded Glory was someone whose posts I have admired and enjoyed since I first logged on to Apolyton. You will be missed, friend....

Ming, I think you should post a link to this in Ctp/Multiplayer forum as well. He seems to have spent considerable time there.

                      Indeed.

Is it possible to send a Poly card or something to the funeral?

Good idea, Peter (or whomever you used to be). I don't know many Polytoners but I did debate Glory occasionally. He seemed like a fair guy...

                              RIP, Steve.

He was a pain in the ass a good portion of the time, but it was always in good fun, and he really seemed to be a good guy.
