EGM: How long could you play this game before you got bored?
Sheldon: About 15 minutes.
This is especially funny when you consider the fact that for the last 3 months I've been tinkering with xgalaga which is/was essentially space invaders.

Kids these days.. they put too much value on the outlook of the game, graphics etc.. way less too value on the whole design, the idea of the game etc.... and that's why games will continue to suck as they come new and hot from the factories!In da butt.

C'mmon; don't over do it. It's not like Donkey kong had good gameplay.
Do you like the games your grandparents had to play. Let's face it, running after an empty wheel, pushing it forward with a stick...hmmm, doubt it.
Besides every generation thinks the same thing and the hprase "kids of today ", is probably being said since man starting walking the earth.

I've been wondering that exact thing myself for years now. Especially after GTAII - the top-down 2D old school version, before they added all the celebrity voices and streaming architecture. I really liked GTA3 and VC, but I can't remember the last game I played that I really HAD to finish because I wanted to, not because I had nothing else to do. Although Super Mario Bros. does come to mind. I'm old. I have plenty of time to read things I find on the ground.Originally posted by ADG
